Lukas Parke Pierson was born at 4:24 pm December 22, 2008. He weighed 7 lbs 4 oz and was 20 inches long. He had quite a few visitors within the first hour of birth, so many in fact that the nurses had to remind them that only two were allowed at one time. Luke had a very busy first week as it was Christmas time and he needed to travel so he could get all of his awesome presents. First we celebrated a nice quiet Christmas day at home. The next day we traveled up to Fredericksburg to see Nana Jani and Luke got to meet Santa Clause! He enjoyed hanging out with Auntie Emily (when Nana Jani would let go of him) ;) The next day we drove up to Montclair and celebrated yet another Christmas with the Blecksmiths. The weather was delightful so Luke got to go on a walk to the beach and Lottie got to go for a swim. He was also subjected to his first "Blecksmith family photo taking session". He handled it like a pro. We had a very nice Christmas week but were ready to get home and take it easy.
